Bio-Signatures and biomarkers

A biomarker is a single tree. TwinMe shows you the forest.

A Bio-Signature is computed by a statistical algorithm from biomarkers associated with the same dimension of health or well-being. Your four biological pillars bring together 19 of them. Open one to see every biomarker it reads.

Bio-Signatures
  • 19 Bio-Signatures across 4 biological pillars
  • 329 distinct biomarkers
  • 825 biomarker readings across Bio-Signatures, face and mind
  • 1,000+ more associated biomarkers, shown in your portal

A biomarker can contribute to several Bio-Signatures: it counts once among the 329 distinct biomarkers and once per Bio-Signature among the 825 biomarker readings, which also include the 8 facial biomarkers and the 6 cognitive biomarkers. More than a thousand other biomarkers, drawn from the scientific literature, appear beside the Bio-Signatures in your portal, without entering their calculation.

Bio-Signature Biological age pillar

Longevity energy

What it reads

The signals tied to how your mitochondria produce and use energy.

Why it matters

Mitochondrial decline is one of the recognized mechanisms of aging; understanding the state of that engine helps explain how well the body preserves energy, mobility and function over the years.

A Bio-Signature reads, through a statistical algorithm, biomarkers tied to the same dimension of your health. The ones read for you depend on the usable data from each sample and on the devices you connect. In your portal, other associated biomarkers from the scientific literature appear beside it, without entering its calculation.

Bio-Signature Aging map pillar

Intestinal longevity

What it reads

The aging of the gut ecosystem and of the functions linking digestion, gut barrier, microbiota and the rest of the body.

Why it matters

These interactions can influence inflammation, immunity and metabolic health over the years, which gives them a direct link with longevity.

Bio-Signature Aging map pillar

Renal longevity

What it reads

The aging path of the kidney, the filter that holds the composition of your blood and clears what metabolism leaves behind.

Why it matters

The kidneys’ filtering capacity slowly declines over the years; preserving it supports the water and mineral balance of the whole body, and with it healthy longevity.

Bio-Signature Biological resilience pillar

Immune resilience

What it reads

Responding at the right level to a demand, then returning to balance.

Why it matters

That capacity is essential to healthy longevity, because a less effective immune system and persistent inflammation gradually weaken the body.

A few clear answers.

Man working at his laptop at home, with Twinee, the TwinMe assistant, illustrated beside him All questions
Is the 1-kit plan a one-time purchase?

No. Every plan is a 12-month program. With 1 kit, you receive the eight pillars once, 12 months of the TwinMe platform and personalized reports on request. You can add a kit whenever you want a new comparison point.

What are personalized reports on request?

Written reports, for you or for your professional, that answer your own questions. Request one whenever you like during your 12 months: it arrives by email in 1 to 5 days, runs up to 10 pages, and you can request more than one.

How many biomarkers does the program read?

825 biomarker readings: 19 Bio-Signatures, 8 facial biomarkers and 6 cognitive biomarkers, or 329 distinct biomarkers. Each Bio-Signature shows on this page every biomarker it reads: the molecules in its calculation, then biomarkers such as height, weight, BMI, resting heart rate, your age, your gender and your questionnaire answers. A biomarker read by several Bio-Signatures counts once per reading. More than a thousand other associated biomarkers appear beside them in your portal. Available results depend on the usable data from each sample and on the devices you connect.

Can I share my results with my physician?

Yes. Request a report addressed to your physician by name, written in their professional language, with a page that introduces TwinMe and a scientific appendix. You choose to hand it to them. TwinMe complements your physician; it does not replace them.

Why choose 4 or 12 kits?

Your pace of aging is read between two comparable readings. Four kits let you follow your trajectory every quarter; twelve let you stay close to an active protocol.

How is the sample collected?

At home, with a finger prick: a few drops of blood on a card, left to dry, then returned by mail in the prepaid envelope. No appointment.
