If what you want is a broad annual panel with people to help you act on it, that is the product. TwinMe (US$995 for the complete program) answers a different question: an at home finger prick becomes Bio-Signatures and pillar level scores describing a state. Superpower measures once and helps you act. TwinMe keeps looking, and shows you what moved.

What is the actual difference between these two products?

One sells you a reading plus the people who help you use it. The other sells you the repetition.

Superpower’s structure is a broad annual picture, then a year of support: a protocol, scores, and a care team on call. The measurement happens once; the value is meant to accumulate through what you do afterwards.

TwinMe’s structure is the opposite. There is no care team, and there is no protocol handed down by a clinician. What accumulates is the picture itself. Four collections a year is four states, and the interesting object is not any one of them but the line between them.

If you want a picture of one moment and a person to talk to about it, that is Superpower and it is a coherent product. If the thing you want to see is movement, a single annual picture cannot show it, no matter how broad it is.

Is this a digital twin, or a laboratory test?

Digital twin technology is already ordinary in industry: a live model of a physical thing, fed by continuous measurement, used to see where that thing is heading rather than only where it stands today. BioTwin calls that same technology, applied to a human being, a virtual twin.

Superpower is a membership built around one annual panel plus a protocol and a care team. It surrounds the measurement with support, which is a real and useful thing to build, but the object you are buying is an annual picture with help attached, not a model that keeps learning.

TwinMe is building the twin. The kit is one input into it, alongside your watch, your scale, your health records, your imported laboratory results and your questionnaires. What accumulates is the model, not the report, and it keeps working between collections.

This is a difference of category, not of quality. A laboratory test is not trying to be a twin, and does not claim to be.

What does Superpower do well?

Three things, and the third one is unusual enough to name.

The entry price is genuinely aggressive. The founding rate of US$199 a year is the lowest entry point of any comparable membership, and at US$349 it stays competitive for what is bundled. Bundling a broad panel with year round support at that price is a real achievement, not a marketing line. It is also HSA and FSA eligible, which for an American buyer is a meaningful part of the true cost.

The bundle is the product. Superpower does not just hand you numbers. The membership includes a personalized protocol, health scores, a biological age reading, and 24/7 access to a care team. They state results are typically ready in about a week. If the thing you keep failing to do is act on your results, that bundle is the entire point, and TwinMe does not offer any of it.

And they compare honestly. Superpower publishes eleven comparison pages against their own competitors, and answers questions like whether Superpower tests more biomarkers than Function Health with a plain no, and neither tests fewer. They write that a single Everlywell kit can cost less than a Superpower membership. That is a higher standard of candour than this industry usually manages, and this page is written to the same standard because they set it.

What is included, and what is sold separately?

This is the sharpest structural difference, and it cuts both ways.

Superpower includes one comprehensive test a year, across 100+ biomarkers. A re-test is available at US$179. So the membership is broad once, plus a protocol and care access all year. Their membership agreement also states that renewal happens at the then current, non promotional rate: a founding price is a price for the first year, not a price forever.

TwinMe sells the cadence itself. US$995 buys the complete program with one kit. US$3,195 a year buys four, one per quarter. US$7,795 a year buys twelve. TwinMe recommends every three months for proper longitudinal tracking.

If you intend to collect once, Superpower’s arithmetic is hard to beat. If you intend to collect four times, add the re-tests to the membership before comparing. Do that arithmetic yourself, on the day you buy, with the prices then showing.

What does Superpower do that TwinMe does not?

Access to people. Superpower includes a care team, advertised as reachable around the clock. TwinMe does not include an appointment, professional consultation, or expert interpretation. If having someone to ask is what makes a health product usable for you, that is a real difference and it favours them.

Biomarker readings in the sense the category understands them. TwinMe is a non-medical wellness experience. It is not a medical or laboratory test and does not provide concentrations, units, reference ranges, diagnosis, screening, treatment, or disease monitoring.

A protocol. Superpower hands you a personalized plan. TwinMe hands you a reading and leaves the plan to you and whoever advises you.

What does TwinMe do that Superpower does not?

Collect without a laboratory. A finger prick, four circles on a card, about thirty minutes of drying, a mailbox. No appointment, no travel, nobody in your living room. Superpower’s standard route is a partner laboratory, with an at home draw available at extra cost.

Include the repeat collection in the plan. The quarterly and monthly plans are built around cadence rather than around a single annual baseline.

Hold more than the blood. The portal takes your watch, your scale, your health records, imported laboratory results, meal photos and questionnaires, and builds a state from all of it. Superpower integrates wearable data too; TwinMe’s model is wider, and the chemistry is one layer of it rather than the whole.

Return a state rather than a set of readings. Pillars, each with a TwinScore, Bio-Signatures marked favorable, keep an eye on, or improve, and deliberately no single global health score. One hundred excellent measurements are one hundred photographs of trees. The pillars are an attempt at the forest.

Which one fits you?
