The program
Apex Sport Performance
Your whole season, read in your biology. TwinMe’s flagship program, for international-calibre athletes and their team.
Apex brings your Bio-Signatures, your devices and your team’s program together in one virtual twin.
TwinMe, powered by BioTwin. Apex is a non-medical wellness program.

The program
For athletes. With their team.
Apex is for international-calibre athletes and the people around them: coach, strength and conditioning professional, nutrition professional, physician, team or federation.
Aquatic sports, winter sports, track and field, team sports: the protocol follows each discipline’s calendar.
An organisation can arrange participation for several athletes. Each athlete’s access is agreed in writing before the start.

The science
From digital twin to human virtual twin
Digital twin technology is already transforming aviation and industry. Applied to a human being, it takes another name: the human virtual twin.
A digital twin follows a real system, such as an aircraft or a wind turbine, from its data.
Applied to a person, the same logic brings their data together in a virtual representation that grows richer over time.

The science
Your virtual twin brings your season together
Your biology, your devices, your team’s plans, your questionnaires and your documents, connected in one place.
A report here, a watch there, a training plan somewhere else: kept apart, these data remain fragments.
TwinMe brings them together and keeps each reading in your history, with the context of your season.

The science
What is a metabolite?
A metabolite is a small molecule used, transformed or produced by your body.
Glucose, lactate and amino acids are examples of metabolites. Metabolomics studies a collection of metabolites present in a sample, such as a blood sample.
A metabolite can serve as a biomarker when it is measured as an indicator of a biological process in a defined context. Not all metabolites are therefore biomarkers.

The science
Your training meets your biology
Genes, food, activity, sleep and the environment influence your metabolites. That is what makes reading them informative for an athlete.
The microbiome also contributes to metabolites. These influences combine and vary from one person to another.
A difference shows an observed change. On its own, it does not establish the cause.
SourcePatti, Yanes and Siuzdak, Nature Reviews Molecular Cell Biology, 2012 ↗ (opens in a new tab)

The science
One sample, one snapshot
Repeated samples, taken under comparable conditions, can help observe change. That is why Apex is built around a sampling protocol.
Each sample describes one moment. Meals, time of day and exercise can influence results: conditions need to be sufficiently comparable.
Successive samples do not provide continuous monitoring.

The science
A biomarker is a single tree. TwinMe shows you the forest.
A Bio-Signature is computed by a statistical algorithm from biomarkers associated with the same dimension of health or well-being.
Each TwinMe program organizes its results into Bio-Signatures.
A single biomarker answers a narrow question. A Bio-Signature reads several related biomarkers together.

The science
One note. Then a chord.
A note can be understood on its own. A chord is also understood through the combination of notes.
The image helps explain Bio-Signatures: relationships between several biomarkers may provide information that their separate values do not show.
This analogy does not describe a calculation. Biological relationships need to be studied and validated in context.

The science
Thousands of signals. One algorithm. Your Bio-Signatures.
A few drops of dried blood from a finger prick. A mass spectrometer captures thousands of signals, then a statistical algorithm computes your Bio-Signatures.
Bio-Signatures are computed by software. No molecule is quantified and no clinical value is provided.
Twinee, TwinMe’s AI assistant, then helps you understand your readings in plain language.

Your season
Your calendar sets the rhythm
More samples during load blocks and around competition, fewer during recovery. The Apex team adjusts the calendar as your season changes.
- Load block
- Taper
- Competition
- Recovery
Fictional example: 52 kits across one season. Each dot represents a sample.
Apex includes 52 kits a year. Their timing follows your training plan: three kits one week, then none the next, for example.
Each reading is kept with its timing, effort, meals and sleep.

Your season
A few drops, wherever you are
A finger prick, a few drops on a card, time to dry, then return by mail. Outside Canada, logistics are agreed before the start.
The collection guide explains each step, from washing your hands to the return envelope.
In Canada, shipping and postal return are included.
Your season
Seven angles on your season
Seven angles to read your season with your team. At the start, the Apex team introduces the available readings for each angle.
- 01Recovery Depth ScoreWhat surrounds your recovery block?
- 02Performance Readiness ScoreWhat context accompanies your competition date?
- 03Training Adaptation ScoreHow do readings sit across a training block?
- 04Muscle Integrity ScoreWhat questions follow demanding muscular effort?
- 05Peak Competition ScoreWhat does your history show around an event?
- 06Injury Exposure ScoreHow does cumulative load fit your season?
- 07Female Physiology Alignment ScoreWhat cycle context accompanies your reading?
These angles guide your conversations with your team. They do not predict injury, fatigue or performance.

Your team
A report for every member of your team
Strength and conditioning professional, nutrition professional, physician: each receives, at your request, a report written for them, by name and in the terms of their profession. Ten pages maximum.
Fictional example
Coach or strength and conditioning professional
Nutrition professional
Physician
Medical specialist
You request the report from your portal, then choose to give it to the recipient. Reports are prepared in English or French.
The images are fictional examples of the TwinMe professional report template.

The framework
The science behind the reading
BioTwin’s 2026 paper in Digital Twin studies individual identification from dried blood spot metabolomic profiles.
BioTwin designs the technology and the method. TwinMe is the platform that presents your Bio-Signatures.

What TwinMe is, and what it is not
It is
a software-based algorithmic reading of your wellness: a statistical algorithm computes your Bio-Signatures from signals captured in a few drops of dried blood.
It is not
a laboratory test or a medical test. No molecule is quantified, no clinical value is provided and no diagnosis is made. TwinMe does not replace a health professional.
Apex does not predict injury, fatigue or performance.
For any question about your health, talk to a health professional.
